When I started writing this blog I did so with the intention of sharing the good, the bad and everything in between! So in saying this, here's what today looked like...
I got to work and little man was so happy! Which is always the best start to a good day. We sat inside and he had a bottle, and then took a nap. I read my book... only lated maybe an hour. He's been doing this thing were he sleeps for 30 to 40 minutes, then is up for an hour and then back to sleep for 30 - 40 min. Over and over... I'm not sure he's getting much sleep. Not because of noise either... he's just been doing it. Mainly in the mornings. Then he sleeps all afternoon. It's crazy. Anyway, we then went out back to the hammock and laid down swinging for an hour and a half. It was really nice, and he loves to look at the trees and watch the birds. He's so curious, I just love watching him. In the time we wereout there he took a nap too! We came in, made lunch... him a bottle, and me homemade cheese and broccoli soup... It was good. He's been sleeping since then. He's getting good at sleeping through people coming in and out.
I was thinking today that I can't wait till he gets a bit bigger so we can go to the park, zoo, and play in the water... I love seeing the joy a toddler gets on their face when experiencing new things! It's the best gift in the whole world!!!
Well, who knows what tomorrow will hold, hopefully another good day, but which ever it is... We take it oe day at a time...
Got to run, little man's waking up...

Help...
Okay, so I am always one to being nice and open... but sometimes you have to draw the line. Only problem is, it's not my family! Okay, let me explain...
So I love my boss and her family, but she has so many people in her life. Which isn't bad, except they are constantly in and out of the house and when the baby is sleeping it's so nerve wrecking. He needs sleep. They just walk in and they are so loud, then they see the baby is sleeping and they go over get right in his face and start talking loudly till he wakes up. He starts crying, poor guy, and then they leave... and I'm left a crying upset baby!! I've talked to my boss, but it dosen't seem to get better. You know, I've read a lot of horrible nanny stories out there and I'm not one to complain especially in comparison, but it'd be nice if they didn't do that.
I'm not upset that he's awake, I'm upset that they scare him and that he isn't gtting his sleep... plus then he's upset all day. Anyone got any advice on this??? I need some nanny to family advice please!!!!!!!

To begin...
I guess this will be about my experience as a nanny. I have worked at three other nanny positions before this current one, although I think this one is the best by far! I love the kids. Be fore I jump right in let me tell you a bit about myself and my job!
My name is Amanda, I'm 23 and single. I have a large family and love kids! I actually have 24 nieces and nephews! I started out as a nanny when I was in high school. I took a position as a part time nanny for my sister-in-law, and loved it! I like the freedom of NOT doing the same thing everyday and experiencing life with the kids. Three postions later I am at the best job I've had yet. I work for a family locally, so I didn't have to move away... which is great! They have three kids, Harrison is 10, Willow is 8 and Prescott is 4months old! Great kids! Everyday is something new. While Harrison and Willow spend the majority of the day at school, Prescott and I hanging out just the two of us. I love watching him grow and experience new and exciting things. Just last week he learned how to grab my phone and tried to eat it! LOL... I love doing the nanny thing, but sometimes it's trying! Well, I need to check on the kids... More to come later!
